Welcome Oakland Church of Christ is a group of people who strive to follow Jesus Christ.
Central to following Christ is carrying out his basic commands: Love God, Love People and Make Disciples Read our statement of faith We are led by Christians who share that central goal. Meet our staff Our church began in 1888 as a gathering of people who wanted to unite simply as Christians. They built a place to gather in 1912. It still stands on the corner of Second and Pine streets. Our current building, between Oak and Locust, was constructed in 1993. We love kids here! Come check us out!
